Description
Croajingolong National Park, Victoria, Australia. Male.  We had the best camp birds on our visit to this NP! This bowerbird was particularly friendly and visited often, but hardly ever stood still long enough for a photo. The blue/black satin sheen is also quite difficult to focus on. The purple eye of this guy really stood out. They are beautiful birds, but all too often shy and elusive.  — Please see my website davidcook.com.au for more photos.
