SUMMARY
Very long tail. Head, neck, breast and UnP pale bluish grey, darker on flanks ans UnT-C. Throat white, breast feather often washed pink and fringled pink, creamy white or white, mantle, back, rump, UpT-C and central R rich chesnut. W-C and scapulars dark chesnut, S and P and their coverts balck, outermost pair of R greyish white on outer web with black subterminal bands. Inner web with broad braod black bands and grey tips. Next pair of R black basally, grey centrally with black and chesnut subtermianl band, next pair tipped with broad chesnut bands. Amount of chesnut increases progressively, with only a little black and grey basally, underwing black, iris yellowish white or pink with red outer ring, orbital skin purplish pink to wine red, bill brown distantly. Female can have orbital skin duller. Juvenile brown, darker and wings and dirty white throat, fringed dark.
