Distribution:
- Restricted to New Guinea and some of larger islands adjacent to W coast, including Salawati; Aru Is.
Little known. Always found along streams. Mainly occurs at 100-300 m above sea level, but recorded up to 1430 m.
Unknown – claimed to be: crayfish and other crustaceans.
