Distribution:
- India and Sri Lanka through SE Asia, Philippines, Wallacea, New Guinea and Bismarcks to Australia and Tasmania.
Inshore and islands, costs, estuaries and terrestrial wetlands, ranging over nearby wooded and open areas, from sealevel up to 1400 m. Nest in woodland and rocky areas
Mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, carrion, and tidal offal.
